We Believe

Our Church Vision

We desire to follow the pattern Jesus used in developing his disciples:

Connect

Desire meaningful CONNECTIONS with people:

  • Establish relationships.
  • Develop a bond.
  • Earn trust.
  • Open hearts and minds to communicate.

Communicate

Cultivate open and honest COMMUNICATIONS:

  • Concerning spiritual matters.
  • Concerning personal matters.
  • Concerning matters of the church.
  • Concerning matters that are currently affecting the world.

Disciple

DISCIPLING to make a difference:

  • Teaching people the depth of their calling to be a follower of Christ.
  • Teach skills for a more effective Bible study.
  • Helping people to develop a powerful prayer life.
  • Introducing the Helper whom the Father sent to us.
  • Helping people understand the Helpers role in their daily lives.

Serve

Create a SERVANT’S heart:

  • Developing a culture of others before self.
  • Learning to be broken for the lost and less fortunate among us.
  • Desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
  • Helping them to identify their callings and talents (Gifts).
  • Encourage involvement with the ministries of the church as well as ministries within our community.

Our Beliefs

At Maxdale Cowboy Church, we base our beliefs on the authority of Scripture. In every way, we strive to maintain Biblical standards of living and leadership. We believe that living life according to God's Word is the way to an abundant, fulfilling life.

#1

The Bible is the Inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man.

2 Timothy 3:15-17

15 and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God[a] may be complete, equipped for every good work.

1 Peter 2:2

Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—

2 Peter 2:21

21 For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.

1 Thessalonians 2:13

13 And we also thank God constantly[a] for this, that when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men[b] but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work in you believers.

MCC Church Mission

The Maxdale Cowboy Church is called to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all whom God gives us the opportunity. We want to assure the message of salvation through the redemptive work of Christ at Calvary, is conveyed to all. We desire to help those in their daily journey with Jesus Christ to strengthen and enrich their walk. We want to help those who identify with Christ and desire to serve to recognize their talents and gifts and provide them a place to use them in service to the Lord. We desire to be a church that follows the teachings of Jesus in

Matthew 28:16-20 & Mark 16:15-18

(The Great Commission).
